Anthem and outpatient treatment at OC Revive

Most Facilities Focus on Either Addiction or Mental Health- We treat both. Although substance abuse disorders can occur with other mental health issues, one might not always cause the other. Existing mental health illnesses may prompt a teen to take drugs, or taking drugs may induce mental disorders. In either case, if a teen is abusing substances as well as experiencing mental health issues, it can worsen the situation in both cases.

Process

How we work with Anthem

Verification is a conversation, not a sales script. Clinical need and safety always come first.

  1. Share

    Plan details

Provide Anthem member information so we can review benefits accurately.

  2. Review

    Benefits check

We look at outpatient behavioral health coverage, authorizations, and likely cost drivers.

  3. Match

    Clinical recommendation

Admissions and clinical staff align level of care to acuity—not only what the plan prefers.

  4. Decide

    Clear next step

You get options: start care, gather more info, or get a referral if we are not the right fit.

Schedules are individualized — admissions can walk you through a sample week for your clinical needs.

Why verify with us

Admissions support built for stressed families

PHP sits between weekly outpatient and full hospitalization—more clinical hours when you need them, without living at a facility overnight.

  • 01

    Fast, confidential response

24/7 line and form follow-up so you are not left guessing overnight.

  • 02

    Dual-diagnosis fluent

We explain coverage for addiction and mental health when both need care.

  • 03

    Outpatient continuum on one campus

PHP, IOP, Evening IOP, OP, and virtual—step intensity without restarting intake.

  • 04

    Honest fit

If another specialty or intensity is safer, we say so and help you redirect.

Good fit

Verification helps if…

  • 01

    You have commercial insurance

Including Anthem and many other plans.

  • 02

You want costs and care options before committing

Understanding benefits reduces last-minute surprises during a hard week.

  • 03

    Someone needs outpatient dual-diagnosis support

PHP through OP and virtual levels for substance use and mental health.

Not the right fit

Important limits

  • We cannot guarantee specific coverage

Final benefits depend on your plan, medical necessity, and payer rules.

  • Emergencies need ER / 911 first

Verification is not crisis care. Stabilize medically, then call us for next steps.

  • Some plans require different pathways

If we cannot serve your network or acuity, admissions will be transparent.

What insurance may support

Clinical services in our continuum

Clinical and experiential work woven through the program day—skills you practice in session and take home each evening.

  • 01

    DBT & CBT

Evidence-based frameworks for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and cognitive restructuring—practical skills you can use the same day, not only in session.

    • Identify triggers and unhelpful thought patterns
    • Build distress-tolerance tools for cravings and conflict
    • Practice skills in group and individual settings
  • 02

    Art & music therapy

Creative modalities when talk therapy is not enough. Expressing through art and music can lower anxiety, surface trauma safely, and open processing that words block.

    • Nonverbal expression for hard-to-name feelings
    • Reduce anxiety through structured creative work
    • Integrated with clinical goals—not free-time only
  • 03

    Yoga & meditation

Body-based regulation so recovery lives in the nervous system. Grounding, breath, and mindful movement help you stay present when stress spikes outside program hours.

    • Breathwork and grounding for acute stress
    • Gentle movement to reconnect body and mind
    • Skills that travel home with you
  • 04

    Group & peer support

Process groups and peer connection so you practice recovery with people who understand. Isolation fuels use; community builds accountability and hope.

    • Clinical process groups led by licensed staff
    • Peer connection without judgment
    • Practice social skills in a safe setting
  • 05

    Individual clinical work

One-to-one time with clinicians who track mood, substance use, and behavior on a plan built for you—not a one-size curriculum delivered on autopilot.

    • Personalized treatment planning and check-ins
    • Space for dual-diagnosis and trauma themes
    • Clear goals between sessions
  • 06

    Life skills & accountability

Time management, communication, stress tools, and relapse prevention so hours outside program still support recovery—especially for dual-diagnosis needs.

    • Relapse-prevention planning you can follow
    • Structure that fits work, school, and family
    • Skills for relationships and daily life
